Roses for Rosa
Roses for Rosa is a painting project born from witnessing a case of parental alienation, when a parent and a side of the family is gradually erased from a child’s life through manipulation or conflict. This series seeks to give form to a reality that’s hard to grasp.
I want to bring recognition to this taboo topic, a form of loss that lives in silence in both the child and the parent. Each painting is a prayer for reunion.
A portion of proceeds will go toward organizations supporting families affected by parental alienation.
